DEMA is the Diving Equipment
and Marketing Association,
a non-profit trade association encompassing the entire dive industry:
manufacturers, retailers, publications & media, travel, resorts, education and
certification agencies, as well as a host of associated and supporting businesses
and services.
DEMA's stated mission is:
"To promote and provide sustainable growth in safe recreational diving while
protecting the underwater environment."
All proceeds from membership and product sales go back into the industry in the form
of promotional programs designed to grow scuba and snorkeling worldwide.
